Abstract
We report a case of fatal basilar artery thrombosis(BAT) from bilateral traumatic vertebral artery dissection(VAD), only accompanied by posterior neck pain. Prompt recognition for BAT, consideration about natural history of VAD and early exami- nation with MRI, MRA may lead to successful thrombolytic treatment and may improve survival.
