Abstract |
Uncommon complication of Intradiscal electrothermal treatment(IDET), catheter denudation, is reported. A 47-year-old woman suffered chronic low back pain. She had no neurologic deficits. Lumbar spine MRI, discography showed Grade III radial tear in the L4/5. During the IDET procedure, catheter was denudated, and 1cm of the shield was remained in the patient's disc space. No neurologic deficits developed after the procedure. |
