Hello,
First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your unwavering support and dedication to Neurospine. It is through your commitment that we have been able to continuously improve and evolve as a leading journal in our field.
As we strive to maintain the quality and expand the scope of our journal, we are met with new challenges and opportunities. In light of this, I need to share an important update regarding our publication policy.
Introduction of Article Processing Charge (APC)
Until now, we have proudly operated without any publication fees, ensuring open and equitable access to our platform for researchers and contributors. However, due to various factors, including the significant increase in the number of papers submitted to us, we find it necessary to revise this policy.
Starting from January 2024, Neurospine will introduce APC for papers that are submitted and accepted for publication. This fee has been set at $400. This decision was not made lightly, and we have considered various factors to keep the fee as reasonable as possible.
Discount Benefits for Members and Contributors
Recognizing the potential impact of this change, we are concurrently working on establishing a discount benefit system. This will be available to members of various cooperative societies and individuals who have shown exceptional dedication to Neurospine. Our aim is to alleviate the financial burden for our most active and committed contributors.
Your Support and Understanding
We understand that this change may raise concerns, and I assure you that this decision is aimed at enhancing the quality and sustainability of Neurospine. The introduction of the APC is a step towards ensuring that we can continue to offer a robust platform for sharing invaluable research and insights in our field.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support and understanding as we implement this change. Your commitment to Neurospine is invaluable, and we are dedicated to working together with you to navigate this new phase of our journey.
Thank you for being a part of Neurospine's growth and success.
Warm regards,
Inbo Han
